STOP G8
Dal 7 al 9 luglio la città di Roma sarà attraversata dalle mobilitazioni contro il G8,
il summit dei potenti della Terra che celebra l’attuale governo del mondo.
Il csoa Forte Prenestino parteciperà alla mobilitazioni nelle forme che da sempre lo caratterizzano,
cercando un proprio spazio autonomo nel panorama delle azioni e delle iniziative previste.
Per questo motivo la normale attività del centro sociale subirà delle modifiche, sarà sospesa l’ospitalità e l’orario di apertura sarà ridotto dalle 20.00 a mezzanotte.
Anche se riteniamo che la sostanza dell’attività politica sta nella quotidianità, nella continuità,
nella costruzione attiva di situazioni più che nella rituale contestazione di un evento mediatico come il G8,
non vogliamo comunque mancare di esprimere anche in questa occasione
il nostro radicale rifiuto allo stato di cose presenti, la nostra totale opposizione a questa struttura di potere
che domina il mondo e controlla le nostre vite.

From 7 to 9 July the city of Rome will be crossed by the mobilizations against the G8, the summit of the "Chiefs of the Earth" that celebrates the actual government of the world. The csoa Forte Prenestino will participate in the mobilizations in the forms that for a long time characterize it looking for a proper autonomous space in the panorama of the actions and the anticipated initiatives. For this motive the normal activity of the social center will suffer some changes, the hospitality will be suspended and the schedule of opening will be reduced by 20.00 to midnight. Even if we believe that the substance of the political activity is in the daily operate, in the continuity, in the active construction of situations more than in the ritual confrontation of an mediatic event as the G8, doesn't want however to miss to also express in this occasion our radical refusal to the state of present things, our total opposition to this structure of power that dominates the world and rules our lives.
